Curriculum Overview

Our aim is for Purlwell to be a happy place where learners achieve and become the very best version of themselves. When learners are happy and settled they thrive. They learn and grow, they accept they will encounter barriers in life and with perseverance and the right support, these barriers can be overcome so they reach their full potential.  We want our learners to be ready for the next stage of their education when they leave us.

We have an exciting, broad and balanced curriculum. We ensure all our learners develop skills right across the curriculum. We learn about our locality, the surrounding area and the rest of the world.  Underpinning our curriculum are the rule of law, mutual respect and tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs.
